Blue Skies Inn is a Bed and Breakfast (B&B) located in the foothills of Pikes Peak in Manitou Springs, a small mountain town of about 5000 souls next to Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are located about three blocks east of “downtown” Manitou Springs on the eastern portion of the old Briarhurst estate, the estate of Manitou’s founder, Doctor William Bell. 

Our inn is on 2.5 acres of that estate; we are right off Manitou Avenue, but away from the street by about a football field’s length. In addition, Fountain Creek runs through our property between our inn and Manitou Avenue, and we are well sheltered from traffic by the huge cottonwoods that grow along the creek. We’ve been in business since about 1998.

Sally is the owner and creator of Blue Skies Inn. She designed our buildings, hand-painted each suite and tiled every one of our sumptuous bathrooms. She also cooks breakfast, which is made from scratch each morning and delivered to each suite.

We’ve been in this business for more than a while; most innkeepers only last about five years.  We’ve got stories to tell and pictures to show you. Feel free to comment or to post your own stories.
